Most businesses buy contact lists and then wonder why nobody replies. The better starting point is the asset you already own: your website. It describes your offer, your customers and the problems you solve — which is exactly what you need to decide who to approach.
Step 1: Describe what you sell in one sentence
Pull it from your homepage and service pages. If you can't, your buyers can't either — fix the site first.
Step 2: Define the buyer
List the industries, company sizes and regions that appear in your case studies and testimonials. That is your ideal customer profile.
Step 3: Choose decision-maker titles
Pick the 4–6 titles that approve the purchase. A marketing agency sells to founders and marketing heads; a payroll firm sells to finance directors and HR managers.
Step 4: Search and rank
Search public LinkedIn profiles for those titles in your target industries and regions, then score each person against your ideal customer. Contact the top of the list first with an opening line about their world, not your features.
Prospectly runs all four steps from one website address and shows the progress live.
