Mobile tire service vs driving to a tire shop: the real cost

Mobile tire work sometimes costs a little more per tire than a walk-in shop. Customers still choose it, and the arithmetic explains why.

The tow you did not need

A blown tire with no usable spare means a tow to the shop. That is often more than the tire itself. A mobile van carries the tire to the vehicle, so the tow disappears from the bill.

The half day you get back

Driving in, waiting for a bay, waiting for the work, driving back — that is easily three hours in Henry County traffic. Mobile service happens while you are at your desk or at home.

The hours a shop does not open

Most shops close at six and are shut on Sunday. Tires do not respect that. A 24-hour mobile service is the difference between missing Monday morning and not missing it.

When a shop is the better choice

If you need an alignment, suspension work or a full four-wheel package with a specific special order, a shop with a lift is the right answer. We will say so.
