The fear about AI in hiring is that it is cold. In practice, the coldest experience in recruitment is the one candidates already know: applying to a role and hearing nothing at all.
Every applicant gets a turn
A human recruiter with 400 CVs will read the first 60 properly. An AI first round talks to all 400. For the candidate whose CV formatting is poor but whose experience is right, that is the difference between being seen and being skipped.
Same questions, same scoring
Consistency is the quiet advantage. Every applicant answers the same questions and is scored against the same criteria, with a transcript your team can read. When someone asks why they were not shortlisted, there is an actual answer.
Where it must stay human
Three rules we insist on with every client: tell candidates clearly that the first round is AI, keep the interview short enough to take on a phone, and make sure a human reads the shortlist before anyone is rejected at the final stage. Machines rank. People decide.
The practical result
Clients typically go from two weeks of screening to an afternoon, and — more importantly — from replying to a fraction of applicants to replying to all of them.
